The equal genetics mod I linked to here is only for hair and eyes. As far as I know, there is no mod that changes the way custom skin tones work. The No Townie Regen is there. I have updated the link to make it easier to find. What mods does it not work with? Are there no alternatives with similar features? I am not an Inteen expert nor have I ever claimed to be.

Everything was fine. But now have installed the same downliads folder into my game on another computer and now I cannot use any career cheats. I have the ultimate collection but it is kind of glitchy, especially in build mode. The screen flickers but it goes away quickly. I was wondering if you had any of those problems and if so how you fixed them? Second, you might need to use the graphics rules maker to ensure your game is recognizing your graphics card. I have no idea how old this thread is, but I hope you ended up getting the issue resolved — if not, though, I just found a solution!

You do need proof of owning at least the base game. My advice is to go onto Ebay and buy a cheap used copy of the game.
They should ask you for the CD key found somewhere on the manual or on a piece of paper that came with the CD version. Make sure the game you buy has a CD key with it before you buy! Good luck! I never see social townies in my game at all — instead the game uses townies to fill apartments. This subhobby dabbles with hobby objects, and may even own some, but spends most of their time reading online content about the hobby to turn around and blog about the same.
Hi Cindy. Love your content. How do you make the predestined hobby light up green? To have your Sim wear their workout clothes, click on a Dresser or Armoire object and choose "Change to Athletic". Sometimes a Sim wants to be casual. To have your Sim change their clothes, click on a Dresser object and choose "Change into Everyday". Sometimes a Sim wants to dress up. To have your Sim change their clothes, click on a Dresser or Armoire object and choose "Change into Formal".
Sometimes a Sim wants to feel snuggly. Sometimes a Sim wants to cool off. To have your Sim wear a bathing suit, click on a Dresser or Armoire object and choose "Change into Swimwear". Sometimes a Sim wants to just be extra comfortable. To have your Sim change their underwear click on a Dresser or Armoire object and choose "Change into Undies". There's nothing wrong with a Sim wanting to look their best.
Make sure your Sim gets plenty of exercise by doing things like working out, doing yoga or swimming. Your Sim is feeling a little vain. Avoid letting him or her eat too much rich food, and if he or she really loves chewing down, keep them trim with some exercise.
Click on a computer or a newspaper and choose "Find Own Place". Later you can find that Sim in the Family Bin at the Neighborhood, and then move them into their own house. Wetting yourself is a severe embarrassment. To avoid this, make sure your Sim has a toilet, and make sure you give your Sim time to use it.
You can get a real bump on the head from passing out. Make sure your Sim has a bed or a sofa to sleep in. Few things are more beautiful than the sight of falling snow. Falling rain can be so pleasant for some Sims.
Check with the weatherman to see what is heading your Sim's direction! Hail isn't always the most pleasant form of precipitation. Sims are more likely to see hail in Winter-- check with the weatherman to see what is heading your Sims' direction!
Some Sims need to know a toilet is clean before they use it. Click on a toilet on a Community Lot and choose "Use" to have your Sim do their business regardless. Some Teens have to blow off some steam, and love bending the rules a little to do it. To have your Teen sneak out, click on the phone before midnight and choose "Sneak Out". Sneaking out has its risks. If your Sim's parents are at home when the fun is over, your Sim might get caught coming in, no matter how quietly. Teens sometimes get out of control.
You'll know this happened when the Police pay a visit. Your Sim hates the thought of being involved in witchery. You should avoid being around too many witches or warlocks; they might teach your Sim about witchery. Some Sims would rather not become a vampire. Keep your Sim from building high relationships with vampires to avoid being bitten. You can recognized [ sic ] a vampire by their pale skin and red eyes. Some Sims prefer to stalk the night.
If you want to cure this Sim anyway, have them call the Matchmaking Service from the "Service" option on the phone. When the matchmaker arrives, click on them and choose "Buy Potion" and then choose "Vamprocillin-D".
Then, click on your Sim and choose "Drink Vamprocillin-D". Your Sim would hate to get their pockets picked. The pickpocket can find you on community lots in home and vacation neighborhoods. Some Sims hate to waste food. Avoid burning food by building your Sim's cooking skill.
You can do this through just cooking lots of food, or by clicking on a Bookcase and choosing "Study Cooking". The more you buy for your Sim, the more those Bills pile up. Pay the Bills before they explode by first getting bills from the mailbox, and then clicking on them and choosing "Pay Bills".
Sims fear fire. To avoid Fires, make sure your Sim has at least some Cooking skill before sending them into the kitchen, and don't let them leave cooking food unattended for too long. Your Sim is worried about coming down with something. Have your Sim keep the house clean and free of vermin, and avoid other Sims who are ill until they recover. Nobody likes being in a falling elevator! Be careful, the chance that an elevator will break and plummet increases with use. Vermin carry disease, and are a sign of a dirty home.
To avoid Vermin, make sure your Sim doesn't leave trash, dishes or spoiled food around. Your Sim would feel terrible if somebody smashed their lemonade stand! To avoid having your Sim's lemonade stand smashed, keep up their relationships with other Sims in the neighborhood. If you want someone to smash the lemonade stand anyway, select another Sim, click the lemonade stand and choose "Smash!
Your Sim worked hard for their belongings-don't let them be stolen. To avoid theft, buy a Burglar Alarm from the Buy Catalog. Being struck by lightning is a rare, but nonetheless unpleasant experience. Sims are more likely to be struck by lightning during rainy weather if they are in water.
Lightning can provide a shockingly good experience. Some Sims can feel the eyes of strange beings upon them. Be careful; if you take notice of them, they may just take notice of you. Some Sims know in their bones that we are not alone. Try taking notice of aliens; they might take notice of you. To meet someone new, wait for one of the Sims in the Neighborhood to walk by.
Click and choose from one of the Social Interactions. Hey, you could even have your Sim order a Pizza-someone's got to bring it!
Hint: To meet more Sims, move more Sims into the Neighborhood. Young Sims like to be read to. To do this, select an older Sim and click on a Bookcase. Choose "Read to. Some Sims like to read to young Sims, but they hate being rejected by the tykes. To Read to a Sim, you'll need to buy a Bookcase. Click on the Bookcase and choose "Read to.
If your Sim gets rejected, the other Sim may not be in a good enough mood. Playing with Babies gives them tons of fun. To do this, click on a Baby Sim and choose "Play With". Some Sims like to read to young Sims.
To do this, you'll need to buy a Bookcase. To be a Friend of another Sim, make sure your Sim spends the time to get both Sims' Daily Relationship with each other above Talking, playing games, or even just watching TV together are great ways to get there. To talk to another Sim, click on that Sim and choose any of the Interactions under the "Talk" group. Having common Interests goes a long way towards having something to Talk about, and so does knowing the same Sims.
Click on the computer and choose "Chat" to interact with random Sims from around the neighborhood. Hint: while this improves Social Need, it's not satisfying as a good old face to face chat. Not all Sims like technology. To send an email, click on the computer and choose "Send Email" and then choose the Sim you want to send it to.
Only Sims who have computers will be available. Sometimes things are so bad, an Apology is the only answer Sometimes it is just better to get out of the kitchen and spend some time with someone else. You can also just go to a community lot when on a date or with a group, and your partners will follow right along.
Once there, click on the podium and select "Be Seated". Make sure you visit a community lot with a Restaurant. Click on the Sim and choose "Slow Dance". To avoid being rejected, make sure your Sim knows the Sim well enough before your Sim asks them to Slow Dance. When you are ready, click on the Sim and choose "Slow Dance". Your Sim wants to throw a water balloon to soak somebody!
To have a water balloon fight, click on a Sim you want your Sim to have a water balloon fight with and choose "Play Water Balloon Fight". Being rejected for playing water balloon fight is almost worse than being hit by one. To invite someone over, make sure your Sim has a Phone. Click on it to open the phone book of everyone your Sim knows. Keep an eye on that clock, though—Sims don't like to be awakened. Your Sim would feel terrible to have an invitation turned down.
A backrub's a great way for your Sim to send the message that just being friends isn't enough. To have your Sim give a backrub to another Sim, click on that Sim, choose "Appreciate", and then "Backrub". It's humiliating to be turned down for offering a massage! Fun-loving Sims love pulling pranks on each other. To pull a prank, click on another Sim and choose "Prank".
Then choose a prank from the prank interactions available. Having an Outing is a great way for everyone to have a good time, but not if no one shows up. To avoid being rejected, make sure your Sim has a good enough relationship with the invitee. Use Influence to play pranks with none of the blame, all of the fun! Remember, this can backfire on the Sim you're influencing if he or she does not have a high enough relationship score with the target Sim.
If the interaction is greyed out, your Sim does not have enough influence at this time. If your Sim wants another Sim to Play With, or wants a Sim to be more playful, influence will save the day. Spread the fun around by Influencing other Sims to Entertain! Sims can sometimes be shy, but with influence, your Sim can encourage a shy friend to be more social. Why take the blame; when your Sim has influence, let another Sim get caught holding the box of soap!
First, find a fountain or place one from the Buy Catalog. Gardening, shmardening. Never garden again when your Sim has influence. To Influence someone to Garden, first make sure there are shrubs to trim, weeds to pull, or flowers to water.
Then click on another Sim when your Sim has influence points, and choose "Influence To" and then "Garden". To be Best Friends with another Sim, make sure your Sim spends the time for both Sims' Lifetime Relationship to each other to get above Building a network of Best Friends makes some Sims feel really special. Free up enough of your Sim's time to build both Sims' Lifetime Relationships to above 50, and then work to keep them there.
You can never have too many Best Friends. Free up enough of your Sim's time to build three Sims Lifetime Relationships to above 50, and then work to keep them there. Your Sim Wants to have more Best Friends than anyone! Free up enough of your Sim's time to build 30 Sims' Lifetime Relationships to above 50, and then work to keep them there.
Your Sim wants to feel like a Winner! Direct him or her to play a Game by clicking on a Game object and choosing from the interactions on the menu. Then select another Sim and direct them to Join. Your Sim would hate to lose a game right now! If you're thinking of playing a Game, pay attention to the skills that matter for winning to avoid an unpleasant surprise. Sims like to be entertained. Sometimes it's not the right time to entertain another Sim. If your Sim does get rejected, the other Sim may not be in a good enough mood.
To make an Enemy out of another Sim, you'll need to choose lots of negative Interactions, like Insulting or Fighting. Your Sim wants to be Best Friends Forever with someone. In order to do this you must first be Best Friends with the Sim. Then if you maintain that relationship long enough you may become BFF with that Sim! Keep working on that relationship!
You talk about your hobbies right? Well so does your Sim and right now your Sim wants to! About Hobbies. Your Sim would feel pretty bad if they were Booed If he or she is going to perform or tell a joke, maybe you might want to polish up their Creativity and Charisma skills first.
To talk to another Sim, click on that Sim and choose any of the Interactions under "Talk". Sims are more likely to have a bad conversation when they don't share common Interests, or if their relationship is low.
It would really hurt if your Sim's request to Play With another Sim were turned down. Bigfoot wants to show his affection by hugging someone! To give the Bigfoot hug, click on your target and select "Bigfoot Hug". Your Sim really wants to get hugged by Bigfoot! To get hugged by Bigfoot, make sure that you build up high relationship with him.
Your Sim wants to visit a neighbor. To visit a neighbor, click on the door to their apartment and select "Knock on Door". Dancing together is great exercise and great fun! So make sure to check your Relationship panel. Getting a lecture is so lame. Make sure your Sim isn't doing anything another nearby Sim might disapprove of. Sims love to make feathers fly during a pillow fight.
It would really hurt if your Sim's request for a Pillow Fight were turned down. Appreciation is a great way to build a relationship Appreciation is a great way to build a relationship, but not if it's rejected. To have your Sim Appreciate another Sim, just click on that Sim and choose any of the Interactions under "Appreciate".
Some Sims like to see others eat well. Then, choose a food you'd like your Sim to serve to others. Loneliness can make a Sim see things.
To avoid a visit from this furry fantasy friend, make sure your Sim spends time getting along with others. Sometimes a Sim really wants to live longer, even at the expense of others. To Drink another Sim, make sure the Laganaphyllis Simnovorii plant is hungry so that it lures Sims with its yummy cake-tongue.
Then, get the victim Sim nearby and hungry so that they go for the cake. Alternatively, if the victim is controllable, you can just click on the plant and select "Grab Cake. Your Sim wants to show someone who's boss! To fight another Sim, click on that Sim and choose "Fight" and then "Attack". Hint: Body skill can make the difference. Parties are a quick way to fill a house with lots of Sims. To throw a party, click on the Phone and then choose any of the Interactions under the "Throw Party" option.
Your Sim is terrified of having a party. To throw a party anyway, click on the Phone and then choose any of the Interactions under the "Throw Party" option. Get some good food on the table, give your guests some fun things to do, and make sure you spend time with them to get the conversation flowing.
Some Sims are ashamed if they throw a lousy party. Wedding parties let your Engaged Sims share their big day. Make sure your Sims get Married or Joined during the Party, or odds are it will be a dud. Time to make the first move on that prospective Sim! Click on the Sim and choose "Ask To avoid being rejected make sure either your relationship is high or that there is good Chemistry between your Sim and their prospective date.
Good Chemistry comes from mutual attraction, you can tell if your Sim is attracted by clicking on the other Sim and choosing "Check Out". You can tell if this Sim is attracted to your Sim by clicking on them and choosing "Ask Sometimes a lifelong commitment just isn't right for a Sim.
If "Break Up" isn't available, you'll need to do some work to drive the relationship down. Getting Engaged is the first step toward a lifelong commitment.
To have your Sim propose to another Sim, click on that Sim and choose "Propose" and then "Engagement". Once your Sim is Engaged to another Sim, they can have a commitment ceremony at any time.
Or click on the Wedding Arch and choose "Join Union". Once your Sim is Engaged to another Sim, the Marriage can happen any time. To have your Sim tie the knot, click on the other Sim and choose "Propose" and then "Marriage".
Or click on the Wedding Arch and choose "Get Married". Some Sims care more about the money they'll get than the Sim they'll get.
To have your Sim tie the knot with a wealthy Sim, first make your Sim's lover is loaded and then get them Engaged. After that, click on the other Sim and choose "Propose" and then "Joined Union".
Appears for Sims in a relationship with another Sim of the same gender. As such, if a Sim rolls this want, the best way to fulfill it is to have a Sim from a wealthy household call the wedding and marry the poorer Sim with the want into their household. After that, click on the other Sim and choose "Propose" and then "Marriage". Appears for Sims in a relationship with another Sim of the opposite gender.
Your Sim really wants someone special in their life. Devote time in your Sim's days to fanning the flames of Love until the Lifetime Relationship reaches Remember to focus on a few Romantic Interactions, or your Sims will just end up friends. Your Sim would hate to let love's flames flicker out. Carve out some quality time out of your Sims day to spend on romance with that special Sim whose coals may be cooling. Despite being a fear, realizing the fear will give influence points rather than subtract it.
This is likely a mistake made by the developers. To have three Lovers at once, spend the time to keep Lifetime Relationships with all three Sims above 70 at the same time. Sims like to be the object of another Sim's attention. To direct a Sim to Flirt with your sim, first select that Sim, click on your Sim and then choose any of the interactions under "Flirt". Getting rejected for a Kiss is no fun. Make sure your Sim knows another Sim well enough before trying a Kiss, and avoid puckering up at all if you think that other Sim is in a foul mood.
If your Sim wants to rack up Make Outs, you'll need time to build relationships high enough with three different Sims to make those Make Outs possible. Your Sim would hate to be shot down by a potential date. To ask a Sim on a date click on the Sim and choose "Ask To avoid being rejected make sure eitehr [ sic ] your relationship is high or that there is good Chemistry between your Sim and their prospective date. Flirting is the first step down that road to love.
To have your Sim flirt with another Sim, click on that Sim and choose any of the interactions under "Flirt". Flirting is the first step down that road to love, but the road turns rocky if your timing's not right. Then click on the other Sim and choose "Cuddle" and then "WooHoo". No one wants to get denied when trying for a WooHoo!
