Logitech extreme pc gaming headset reviews

Read on to see why you need to avoid these headphones. Logitech makes some of the best gaming mice, keyboards and speaker systems on the market, but their headphone selection has always been somewhat sub par. Unfortunately the Precision Headset continues this tradition. Did the pressure to hit a specific price point cause Logitech to cut too many corners?

Does the average gamer, with perhaps less experience using high quality audio equipment, give a product designer the license to push a low quality product through the doors? Instead, you get large donut-shaped foam padded pieces which angle outwards from the front outside surface.

With this design, the outer ear is supposed to pinch between the donut and driver piece. The microphone boom comes off the right earpiece, and swivels just enough to be considered to be in front of your mouth. The microphone lacks a foam windscreen which impacts sound quality and is not flexible. The headband wraps around the back of the head, but lacks any adjustability. Stupidly they put that on the inside where it has contact with the back of your ear. It really does hurt.

To the point of getting excruciating after an hour of gaming. Overall Review: I wouldn't buy these again Pros: cheap pricing, length of cord, sound quality overall from headset and from the mic. Overall Review: Usually I wouldn't take time to write a review, but for this product I will. When I first built my rig two and a half years ago, I also needed a headset so I decided on this one. It is only recently that the right side faded out and a couple days later, the left side also.

Now, I am getting rdy to purchase two more of these headsets. So if your reading these reviews to get a good idea of whether or not to get this product, you should.

For the price, it's unbeatable with the Logitech name brand. I took great care of this headset and it provided me 2 and a half years of daily service. Overall, it's a great product, but all good things must end.

Good luck all future purchasers. Long chord, great mic and great sound. My nicely designed head set and quite durable. Headset is wide and can fit wider heads also. Cons: Mic is a bit short of mouth but still ics all the words you say and show no bad signs of the issue. Hard to find a price like this let alone a great headset. Its a must buy!!!!!! Pros: Very clear sound. These things can get LOUD. Wraps around the back of your head so it doesnt mess with your hair, doesn't slip.

Adjustable microphone, clear microphone transmitions. The headset's small, foam-covered drivers rest on top of your ears, encircled by larger leatherette ear pads that cup your ears and press against the side of your head, holding the unit in place. The Precision PC Gaming Headset tended to clamp against our ears and head with more pressure than we would have liked. The microphone is attached to the outside of the right earpiece. You can swivel it out of the way when it's not in use, but it's otherwise nonadjustable.

The cord should prove long enough to connect to a floor-standing computer's rear-panel jacks if necessary. Grind Fuel True Wireless.
